Lafonda is the Bronx Bombshell making waves up in the NYC. We all know that the industry is hurting for something real and this sister as a positive force is ready to heal. With the new kids on the block that seem to be afraid to speak or sing words of encouragement and upliftment on their CD’s, Lafonda gives us a vision of a real woman with her lady like style. Not to mention that she is a true talent that has a nicely toned and funky today sound.Her smash single, “Ooh Ahh” which comes from her latest CD, "Go Hard or Go Home" has been well received in the clubs, and has become one of iMAG's faves. Out of all the CD’s, that were sent to iMAG within the week, Lafonda’s "Go Hard or Go Home" received the most attention because it was pleasing to hear an artist with the courage to be real-- reminiscent of Jill Scott, Alicia Keys, Rihanna and others that precede her.
Although her image does not particularly match that of her message, don't let her sassy look fool you, and don’t let that stop you from checking her mix CD out.
